St. Angelina Community Health and Rehabilitation Centre-SACHARC, aims to build a movement of change activists to tackle gender based violence and other harmful traditional practices. This program is implemented through various women grass roots activist’s groups, Student volunteer group from secondary level and Students facilitators group from higher secondary level and by improving their skill. Activities include, participation in 16 Days of activism on gender based violence, general awareness on forms of GBV such as early/forced marriage.

We also provide support to survivors of gender based violence. In this situation, SACHARC has been providing legal aid to the women and girls who are victims of violence from the very beginning. The legal aid and education program was implemented with the help of Volunteering legal team of SACHARC that have now teamed up and are in collaboration with other proactive civil organizations with the own initiative of SACHARC.
